Many “hands-on” activities such as arts and crafts workshops and gingerbread cookie decorating offer fun for the entire family. In addition to the most popular of Czech festival cuisine and holiday treats, you may also enjoy specialty teas in the Tea Room and dining in the Castle Restaurant.
The castle grounds boast more than 100 handicraft stalls featuring merchandise from local artists making this is the perfect opportunity to find that unique Christmas gift or decoration you won’t find in the crowded city stores.
For visitors who have enjoyed past years’ festivals, this year will host many new and exciting features, such as a live nativity scene, acoustic dulcimer music in the castle cellar and an even wider array of new booths and vendors.
The Castle Museum exhibition will also be open for guided tours from hosts in period costumes.
